Our projects

Since more than 10 years the ACLI — Selbsthilfewerk für interkulturelle Arbeit e. V. (acli e. V.) has taken over project activities from the former enaip organisation developed and implemented in Germany.

The following list gives an overview on the most significant projects and actions, developed and implemented by acli and enaip in Germany in the last years.

The following projects have been completed or are currently being pursued:


 

  1. Since 2015 in Gambia, Germany, Italy, Morocco, Senegal and Tanzania

    African partnerships
    Following the fit.com project cooperation and the founding of the Mediterranean NGO sponde, a continuous support, learning and cooperation with people, families, communities and social actors in Europe and Africa is growing. This also includes continuous networking with a variety of actors in the Neckar-Alb region.


  2. 2019 – 2021 in Bologna, Bucarest, Lille, Lisbon, Rome, Tübingen and Zagreb:

    EUReKA
    The project develops and tests a one-stop-shop web platform and corresponding app for comprehensive information and support for European mobility.


  3. 2017 – 2020 in Bucharest, Lille, Monterotondo, Rome, Stuttgart, Tübingen,:

    Key Competences for all (Kc4all)
    The project provides a platform for the exchange of useful tools and good practice in the field of acquisition and recognition of key competences between European partners.


  4. 2017 – 2019 in Lyon, Rotterdam, Stuttgart, Torino, Valencia and Vejle:

    EMBRACE
    The project develops exemplary tools for the identification, validation and certification of competences of refugees and migrants in the agricultural and food industry.


  5. 2016 – 2017 in Barcelona, Gothemburg, Milan and Stuttgart:

    Smart Factory
    On behalf of the European Commission, partners from four European regions are looking for perspectives for the future of work in the face of advancing digitalisation.


  6. 2015 – 2017 in Brussels, Lille, Lisbon, Odense, Rauma, Reggio Emilia, Stuttgart, Tübingen, Utrecht, Venice and Zagreb:

    ACROSS
    The European project aims at a European understanding in the field of education and training of key competences for future-oriented and sustainable “green jobs”.


  7. 2014 – 2015 in Barcelona, Brussels, Milan, Nanterre, Naples, Rome and Stuttgart:

    PARTECIPARE
    ARCI, ACLI and Patronato ACLI are working at national level on structural improvements in the area of refugee and migrant reception under the leadership of local authorities. We support with experiences from Germany.


  8. 2014 in Dar es Salaam (Tanzania), Ragusa (Italy), Stuttgart, Tübingen and Villa Rica (Peru):

    fit.com
    Transcontinental encounter between younger people and youth workers; use of creative and artistic tools in conflict resolution and community work.


  9. 2014 in Ovada:

    „Francesco Calmarini Award – Citizens for a Europe of Solidarity“
    Award of the prize to Achille Tagliaferri, long-time colleague and companion of the name-giver and European philanthropist.


  10. 2013 – 2014 in Bratislava, Rome, Madrid, Stuttgart, Tübingen, Venice and Vienna:

    BEAMS — Breaking down European Attitudes towards Migrant/Minority Stereotypes.
    Together with 15 European partners, we are learning more about prejudices and stereotypes towards minorities and migrants in popular culture.

  11. 2013 – 2014 in Esslingen, Stuttgart and Tübingen:

    Accompanying newly immigrated young Italians in their linguistic, professional and social integration.


  12. 2013 in Bujumbura and Ryarusera (Burundi):

    Study Visit to Burundi
    We dare to look at Europe from an East African perspective.


  13. 2012 – 2013 in Freiburg im Breisgau, Lille, Piteşti, Nicosia, Stuttgart and Tübingen:

    majmin
    Development of new concepts and in-service supervision and training in the field of juvenile detention.


  14. 2010 – 2013 in Reutlingen, Schwäbisch Gmünd, Stuttgart and Tübingen:

    LET — Linking Europe in Transition
    Network of European social partners and European experts of good practice in the area of coping the financial, economic and social crises in Europe. The project is granted by the European Commision in the framework of European social dialogue. Cooperation with social partners in Austria, Croatia, France, Italy, Slovkia, Spain, Sweden and the United Kingdom.


  15. 2010 – 2013 in Reutlingen, Schwäbisch Gmünd, Stuttgart and Tübingen:

    INPUT — inovative transfer by useful practice
    Sustainable mentoring and coaching by transnational experts of significant projects of work promotion with and for younger and elderly people with and without migration biography. Management of a learning network with five regional and more transnational partners.


  16. 2011 – 2012 in Alghero, Cagliari, Lille, Reutlingen, Stuttgart, Tübingen and Venice:

    Extra Moenia
    European project to improve frameworks of continuous training of officers and professionals working in juvenile justice. Cooperation with IFOLD Cagliari, CORA Venezia, TANDEM PLUS Lille. The specific contribution acli e. V. within the experts’ network consists in two lectures and project meetings in Alghero as well as in the development, implementation and evaluation of a study visit of officers and professionals to Baden Württemberg. The programme focused on “certification of juvenile justice and penitentiaries”, “open juvenile justice”, “innovative initiatives within the penitentiary sports programmes” as well as “Victim-offender mediation within juvenile justice”.


  17. 2011 – 2011 in Bologna, Stuttgart and Tübingen:

    Bologna – Study programme for prospective civil engineers
    On the occasion of the professional and social discourse on Stuttgart 21, 20 prospective civil engineers from Bologna, where an underground express train station has already been realised, visit the Stuttgart region. In addition to lectures and visits to Stuttgart’s main railway station, the House of Architects and the Park Protectors, the study programme focuses on large contemporary buildings (waste incineration plant, youth hostel), classics of modern architecture (Weissenhof) and innovative urban planning (French quarter in Tübingen).


  18. 2009 – 2011 in Bucarest, Dresden, Granada, Pescara and Stuttgart:

    REDshift
    Distance Learning in the acquisition of key qualifications. Innovation transfer project with partners in Germany, France, Italy, Portugal and Spain. Portugal and Spain within the framework of the European Leonardo Da Vinci programme.


  19. 2009 – 2010 in Granada, Lille, Lisbon, Monterotondo, Pitesti, Rome and Stuttgart:

    PAME – Pour des Actions Moins Excluantes
    Exchange on good practice in the field of local initiatives by and for disadvantaged and excluded (young) people with partners in France, Germany, Italy, Portugal, Spain and Romania.


  20. 2009 — 2010 in Bad Boll, Barcelona, Bratislava, Lille, London,
    Lyon, Milan, Rome, Stuttgart, Toulouse and Zagreb:

    Good Old Europe
    Network of European social partners and European experts in the field of active ageing, industrial relations and demographic change. Project on behalf of the European Commission in the framework of the European Social Dialogue. Cooperation with social partners in Croatia, France, Italy, Slovakia, Spain and the United Kingdom.


  21. 2008 – 2010 in Backnang, Freiburg im Breisgau, Granada, Lille,
    Lisbon, Monterotondo, Pitesti, Pottenstein, Rome and Stuttgart:

    TIMSAP – The European Life Assistant
    Promotion of personal and household-related services for people with a migration background. Innovation transfer project with partners in France, Italy, Portugal, Romania and Spain within the framework of the European Leonardo Da Vinci programme.


  22. 2008 – 2010 in the Stuttgart economic area:

    PIA – Personalmanagement: Interkulturell + Alternsgerecht
    Qualitative study and sensitisation of small and medium-sized enterprises. Project commissioned by the Ministry of Economics of the State of Baden-Württemberg with funding from the European Social Fund. Project cooperation with the Eberhard Karls University of Tübingen.


  23. seit 2007 in Frankfurt am Main, Nürtingen, Stuttgart and Zagreb:

    URU — Uči-Radi-Upoznaj — prijevod na njemački
    Practical experience for Croatian students. Poroject cooperation with the capital Zagreb, the Croatian Consulate General in Stuttgart, the German-Croatian Chamber of Commerce and partner companies in Baden-Württemberg.


  24. 2007 – 2009 in Croatia, the Czech Republic, France, Germany, Italy and Slovakia:

    o+ne — Old + New Europe
    Industrial relations and social dialogue in old and new Europe. Network of European social partners and European experts. Project on behalf of the European Commission in the framework of the European Social Dialogue. Cooperation with social partners in France, Italy, Croatia, Slovakia, Spain and the Czech Republic. Project cooperation with the Eberhard Karls University of Tübingen.


  25. 2007 – 2009 in Isola del Gran Sasso, Mannheim, Stuttgart and Teramo:

    EuroCompetenceMobility: Mobility in Europe
    Mobility project for young people with an (Italian) migrant background with partner companies in the province of Teramo (Abruzzo) on behalf of BIBB as part of the European Leonardo Da Vinci programme.


  26. 2006 in Bolzano and Stuttgart:

    Bolzano — Further training for employment counsellors
    of the Autonomous Province of Bolzano


  27. 2005 – 2007 in Paris and Stockholm:

    Euro-Platform
    European mainstreaming process in the framework of the European Community Initiative EQUAL with the thematic focus on migration


  28. seit 2004 – 2010in Stuttgart:

    Civilian Voluntary Service
    In the framework of various programmes of the Council of Ministers of the Italian Republic, young volunteers complete a one-year international voluntary service in Stuttgart.


  29. seit 2004 – 2013 in Stuttgart:

    ich muss weg — Youth information fair at Stuttgart City Hall
    Participation in the Stuttgart Youth Fair with offers on voluntary services, living and working in (European) foreign countries.


  30. 2004 – 2007 in Amiens, Bratislava, Copenhagen, Gandía, Rome, Stuttgart and Vienna:

    CEMAnet – Transnational Expert Network
    on the topics of “appropriate adaptability”,
    “lifelong learning” and “corporate social responsibility”. Transnational project cooperation within the framework of the European Community Initiative EQUAL.
